ANSYS Modeling Software

ANSYS is general-purpose finite element analysis, physics modeling and computational fluid dynamics software.

ANSYS FLUENT enables broad physical modeling capabilities needed to model flow, turbulence, heat transfer, and reactions.

Shown below are the results of the modeling of a polymer-based microfluidic device for the growth of bacterial biofilms and in situ analysis of biofilm mechanical properties arising as a function of environmental fluid conditions. Computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulations quantify fluid velocities and shear forces acting on growing biofilms within the device.
