Professor Cliff Henderson of Georgia Tech will be discussing Organic Nanotechnology: Enabling Future Nanoelectronics at the February 24 Colloquium series.

Sang-Hyun Oh of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Minnesota will discuss Plasmonic Based BioSensors using Engineered Metallic Nanostructures on March 2, 2012.

More than 300 middle and high school students will get an up close look at nanotechnology through presentations, interactive programs, and a tour of CNSE's world-class Albany NanoTech Complex.

Dr. Ralph H. Scheicher a professor at Uppsala University, Sweden will be discussing Graphene Nano-Electrodes for DNA Sequencing on March 8, 2012.

Dr. Ralph Scheicher, a professor at Uppsala University in Sweden, will be the special Colloquium speaker on Thursday, March 8. His talk will focus on Graphene Nano-Electrodes for DNA sequencing.

Jim Liu of University of New Mexico will discuss Nanotoxicology on March 9, 2012.

The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) will host the Capital District Microscopy and Microanalysis Society (CDMMS) on March 13 for a dinner and meeting.

CDMMS is an organization of individuals involved with various aspects of electron microscopy. This meeting will feature Professor David Joy from the University of Texas, one of the leading experts in the world on microscopy, particularly as applied to the characterization of microelectronic materials.
